The new Minus Mini-pickup monocoque shell provides our customers with the ideal opportunity to transform their old care-worn Mini into a unique Minus. Gone are the external body seams, worries about creeping rust and finding puddles of water in the footwells. This shell will float, and is extremely strong (a four to one ratio gain when compared to steel!). The shell in some areas of high load are over 10mm thick!

The bad news? Well, you park one of these vehicles in a town centre, expect to be stopped by passers by who want to know more about where you got your shiny, sporty new car from. This vehicle is guaranteed to turns heads! Looks like a complicated build? Well, no, it's not. The Minus pickup shell is designed from the outset to be quick to build, and will accept all the component parts from your old Mini with little or no modifications! Headlights, Windscreens, front and rear chassis, wheels, all the bits you can think of, are all recovered from your donor Mini. This makes the transformation quick and painless.



So, what can we provide? The body line on this shell is different from a standard mini in that the height of the rear loading bay has been reduced. This reduction is carried across the whole length of the car, giving the end vehicle that modern (and lighter, more fuel efficient) look. We haven't forgotten about all you tall people. The cab has been extended by some 2 inches and the bulkhead has been moved towards the rear which makes for a roomy seating area.

These changes (and other more subtle tweaks) means that the standard Mini doors are the wrong size for the shell (fret not - We can provide replacements), and the radiator cowling mounts need to be re-drilled so everything still sits under that sleek new bonnet (that we also provide). Everything else just drops straight in! It's impossible to second-guess what modifications a customer might want to make when doing a rebuild (we think we've covered most of the bases ) but if required we can pre-drill all critical mounting points for you. Rest assured, if you have issues with your project, we are only a phone call away! Costs:
Standard pickup shell (you pick the colour) 3000 GBP.

Replacement dashboard (fitted, and colour matched with the shell) 200 GBP.

Doors (based on an exchange from your donor vehicle) 275 GBP per pair.

The standard glass for the front and rear screens fits this shell, but if you require replacements, both the front and rear come in at 80 GBP.

Delivery:
Turn around times for a new shell is 6-8 weeks once a deposit has been received.
